David Dvorkin is the CEO and Founder of Hire Cause, a project-based career education company that empowers high school students to build professional skills by solving real challenges for their communities. David previously led sponsorship sales for the radio partner of the Grammy Awards, where he also ran the internship program. After studying the design of internships and seeing how many students graduate without an internship, David founded Hire Cause to prepare students to thrive beyond the classroom. Hire Cause was recognized by the University of Pennsylvania as one of 25 organizations worldwide for innovation in education, and selected by superintendents to lead career programming for President Obama's My Brother's Keeper and My Sister's Keeper initiatives. David is a recipient of Emory University's Entrepreneur of the Year award and graduated magna cum laude from Emory.

Kareem Farah spent his teaching career as a high school math educator in Hawaii and Washington, DC. Kareem taught mathematics through a blended, mastery-based approach that met students where they were. The cornerstone of his classroom was students working through content at their own pace and employing mastery-based grading to evaluate student learning. In 2018, Kareem received the DC Public Schools Award for Classroom Innovation and was featured in Edutopia and CBS News for his work. To bring this instructional model to classrooms everywhere, Kareem co-founded the Modern Classrooms Project, where he serves as CEO. He and his team train and support math teachers in transforming how they deliver their curriculum through blended, self-paced, mastery-based instruction that meets the unique needs of every learner. To date, the organization has impacted over 100,000 educators.

Kareem holds a bachelor's degree from Washington University in St. Louis and a master's in secondary education from Johns Hopkins University.

Dr. Betty A. Rosa is the Commissioner of Education and President of the University of the State of New York. Prior to serving as Commissioner and Interim Commissioner, she served as the Chancellor and Member of the Board of Regents. Dr. Rosa is a nationally recognized education leader and received an Ed. M. and Ed. D. in Administration, Planning and Social Policy from Harvard University.

She also holds two other Master of Science in Education degrees, one in Administration and Supervision and the other in Bilingual Education from the City College of New York and Lehman College, respectively, and a B.A. in psychology from the City College of New York. She has more than 30 years of instructional and administrative experience with an expertise in inclusive education, cooperative teaching models, student achievement, and policy implementation.

Cris Scorza is the Helena Rubinstein Chair of Education at the Whitney Museum of American Art, where she leads innovative strategies that shape the future of museum learning. She directs interpretation, public programs, academic partnerships, and social impact initiatives connecting schools, youth, families, and communities. A champion of bilingual and Latinx engagement, Scorza is expanding the Whitney’s Spanish-language and access programs to foster equity and belonging. Drawing on experience at MoMA, the New Museum, the Brooklyn Children’s Museum, and MCA San Diego, she designs forward-looking programs that inspire inquiry, empower diverse audiences, and redefine how museums nurture creativity and civic connection.

Shaude Tyson is a third-grade special education teacher at 262 El Hajj Malik El Shabazz Elementary School and creates a learning environment grounded in collaboration, confidence-building, and experiential learning. Shaude is the school’s UFT Chapter Leader, advocating for teachers and collaborating with her principal to advance school initiatives, such as transforming P.S. 262 into a PROSE (Progressive Redesign Opportunity Schools for Excellence) School, allowing it to change the UFT contract and New York City Public School regulations to create school community driven innovations. She is the Student Council coordinator and was chosen for the UFT AI Ambassadors cohort.
